My love of Rollers started in the Masai Mara, Kenya where I had a very enthusiasic guide that adored Lilac Breasted Rollers and pulled over every time we saw one treating them as exciting and as important as the Big 5! Since then I've had my eyes peeled for the Eurasian, Abyssinian, and Lilac Breasted Rollers! The vibrant colours of their feathers against the African landscape are absolutely gorgeous!
