What is it about sunflowers? They are so iconic! Growing up I had an obsession with trying to grow them. They come in so many variations from dark wines, red and oranges all the way to the classic yellow sunflower.

This sunflower was photographed while I was living in France and I found field after field of sunflowers and lavender, a magical landscape, a beautiful sight and amazing experience to be among so many flowers.
